I do love a good 3D action movie and while this was better than the first Percy Jackson movie it still lacks something - not sure if it is the lead actor who is clearly supposed to be young however some of the actions and things he says are just a bit incongruous and makes it feel odd. Having just watched both this sequel and the first film with my two younger nephews I think this is one of those rare occurrences where the sequel is as good, if not better, than the first one!
