We won’t be able to verify your ticket today, but it’s great to know for the future.Theater box office or somewhere else You have Achilles a la Brad Pitt in Troy, you have the kraken from Clash of the Titans, and the costumes reminded me of The 300. But, sadly, they were really trying to make a serious movie with people that CANNOT act.
So bad it's funny. If you watch some of the very bad Hollywood versions of Troy and the Odyssey this one was no better or worse I gave it a four because I would not be wary of my grandchildren watching it otherwise to each his own. Nothing the actors did convince me this was how the odyssey was like.
Let me start by saying I did not finish this movie. My two year old nephew could act better than the so-called "actors and actresses" featured here. 8 out of 12 found this helpful.
And why they felt the need to make Circe into Odysseus best friend, who even saves him at the end (making him look like an idiot).. oh well, seems to be modern, feministic film making. IMPOSSIBLE TO WATCH SUCH DREADFUL COSTUMES Have you ever thought that The Odyssey might be better if Tommy Wiseau, and not Homer, wrote it? That's sort of the vibe you'll get from Troy: The Odyssey on Netflix. This was not possible with this level of incompetence. And they storm Troy with about 15 extras. Copyright © Fandango.
I mean, I've been to high school productions that blew this away.

The dialogue is atrocious, the costumes scream low-budget. The Asylum Lol. Everything, from the CGI to the costumes, acting, sets, and script were horrible. Amateur hour on a cheap budget that shouldn't even be considered a B movie. Was this review helpful? Was this review helpful?
Run away. Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for The Fall of Troy (The Odyssey Duet) at Amazon.com. It looks the director just threw something together and called it The Odyssey. Full Review The movie sidesteps the existence of the Greek gods, turns its heroes into action movie cliches and demonstrates that we're getting tired of computer-generated armies.
Just don't watch it and waste your time.!
There is an effort being made to condense the Odyssey and update it with a strong female mythical warrioress lead. For the director of the movie to adapt a great retelling in history, he was totally off on the storyline. Watch anything else but this.
I fast forwarded through parts of the movie due to terrible dialogue and utter boredom. I hoped to find the same level of enjoyment that one might have while watching 'The Room', and I can honestly say that this film came close. Where to start this review well first off the acting is horrible you have so many different voice accents in this movie. I did think some acting was bad but on the whole for a low budget film it was not that bad. Was this review helpful? Don’t worry, it won’t take long.
