He spoke his mind and shared with us the intimate parts of his life, while at the same time remaining sensitive to anyone's personal feelings and beliefs. One was the author's, Stephen J. Dubner, while the other two were those of his parents. I couldn't connect with him and I couldn't empathize with his plight. As things turned out, the script had to be tossed out completely.
