And, of course, summer is when EVERYone wants to hang out and do stuff, so I’ve been trying to balance my working with my hanging out with friends and doing (free) stuff, making time scarce. It simply shows the call-to-action characters instead of your chosen name every time. For some reason, even though I’ve kept the call-to-action characters in every instance that the game uses them to recall the name you choose for your character at the beginning of the game, it will not work in the patch. Of the 104661 characters on Anime Characters Database, 10 are from the h-game PersonA ~Phantom of the Opera~. So far I’ve finished the Phantom and Raoul, and I’m working on Philip right now.

I’ve changed it to the number of lines in the text documents I’ve got on hand. As of right now after translating another scene, I’m at 4850 lines translated out of an estimated 30,000 lines, which puts me at about 16% completion. They have been indexed as Male Adult with Pink eyes and Purple hair that is To Neck length. I’ve got soooo much more to do, but I’m still excited for hitting this major step ^_^ As always, the little counter along the left sidebar shows the actual lines translated vs. actual lines total, so that will give a more accurate view of how far I am.
Still no word on if I have someone who can make this translation work I’m doing compatible with the game, but I’m still hopeful.I got another 1% done tonight – I know it doesn’t seem like much, but at least it’s something :3 I don’t have too much planned until the holidays, so hopefully I can get a bit done before then. I’ve had a couple friends look at the files, but we can’t figure out how to decrypt the one that contains all the scripts >.< If anyone has any idea on how to decrypt a .sce file, please let me know! This does not include the unknown amount of time it will take to fix any errors or edit any images that may need it. I am working on Philip sand would say I’m about half done with them. However, I started playing the game with my newest boyfriend (weird, I know :P) and noticing all the errors I made in tense and verbage and such.

But hey, translation won’t be done for a while either lol. But the good news is, my next con isn’t until the end of next month, so I will have some spare time in which to relax and translate!
